Fried Rice


This was really good and had more flavor than other fried rice I've had. Jared and I both gave this an 8 and the recipe came from foodnetwork.com. 

8 fried shitaake mushrooms We left these out
3 TBS peanut oil
2 large eggs, lightly beaten with a pinch of salt
4 green onions, thinly sliced
1/4 C. minced carrot
1 large clove garlic, minced
Pinch red chile flakes
1 tsp. minced and peeled fresh ginger
2 TBS. soy sauce
1 tsp. toasted sesame oil I didn't toast it
3 C. cooked long-grain rice
1 C. cooked meat, cut into cubes, such as chicken, ham or beef We used ham
1/2 C. frozen peas, defrosted in a strainer at room temperate
