Pecan Pie

This is a classic recipe from my Dad, and it’s the best I’ve had. It’s still super sweet and rich, but it’s so very good. I would give this a 9. Here is the original with my changes in bold.

Pecan Pie

4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup pecans (crush with rolling pin) I use way  more than this
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup light corn syrup
1/3 cup butter
Combine ingredients then pour into uncooked pie shell. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes and at 350 for 35 (45 at least) minutes. Don’t under bake and make sure oven is preheated thorough. Cook until the crust is brown.
