Emma's Mormon Chicken
- 4½ cups chopped cooked chicken
- 4- oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 (10.5-oz) can Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp dried onion powder
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
- 5 Tbsp butter
You combine the dairy, the spices, and mix in the chicken (Emma uses rotisserie), and then you put this in a 9x9 pan and mix the ritz crackers and butter together and put it on top. You bake for 3-45 minutes at 350 and put over noodles or rice.
Emma said she increases the spices.
This is Mormon food. It's simple and fattening and not terribly innovative, but it's good. Also, I would maybe increase the chicken amount to sauce ratio.
